Providing a complete Solution
That Works!!!
Chevalrie Salon, High Point, NC- Chevalrie Salon is an upscale
Aveda Salon located in North High Point. Chevalrie came to Southeast
Point of Sale needing a point of sale system that could handle inventory
control, help manage their customers, keep track of commissions and
time for employees, manage their vendors, and process their credit cards.
During her extensive search for the right solution, owner Paula Noee
found that many companies that courted her were not even in the same
time zone, much less able to offer local support and training, and many
only provided part of the solution. For example, they might offer only
the software and not the hardware. When she came to Southeast Point
of Sale her frustration level had reached its peak.
Southeast Point of Sale demonstrated the ezTouch Retail point of sale
software and found that it could do everything she wanted. Different
hardware options were then discussed to come up with a solution that
fit her needs as well as her budget.
SEPOS installed the system and set up a training schedule. Paula and
her staff were trained on all aspects of the system, including routine
maintenance such as data backups. SEPOS continues to offer training,
support, and upgrades to ensure that Chevalrie Salon continues to enjoy
maximum return on investment on its computer purchase.
Paula believes that the ezTouch POS system saves her at least 2-3 hours
a night on daily paper work. Her inventory stays at the levels she wants.
She has a database of over 350 clients which she uses to send coupons
and run promotions. The client database also allows her to store before
and after photos of clients, as well as other client retention amenities
that help make her customers feel special.
"EzTouch has given me the opportunity and the time to grow my business.
It has helped save me money and make more money as well. Another thing
I like about SEPOS is the hands on training and support we received
and continue to. My relationship with them has been nothing but positive."

Providing Peace of Mind
Grappa Grill, High Point and Greensboro, NC
Owners Tony Stevens and Kim Caswell have two restaurant locations as
well as a catering operation. They needed a POS system that would allow
them to travel back and forth while maintaining a sense of control.
Their system had to be fast reliable and flexible. Being hands on type
people they needed to be able to manage the entire system without much
outside help; however, they also needed assurance that if they did need
help, it would be available.
Lucky for them, the VersiTouch restaurant POS software, provided by
Southeast Point of Sale was able to help them with many of their issues.
Grappa Grill's daily menu changes happen without a glitch and the owners
are able to view sales data from both stores by integrating their POS
system with Clarity's Web DSR.
"The combination of the VersiTouch POS system and Web DSR really
give me a sense of security that I wouldn't have otherwise. Without
constantly having to check up on the location where I am not I have
been able to relax and think of new ideas to help grow our business."

Providing Exceptional Support and Training
Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, Greensboro
Owner Darla Schnieder knew she needed to upgrade her POS system but
she dreaded having to do it. Not only did she see it as an expense,
the idea of training her staff (most of whom spoke little English) seemed
to terrify her. How long would it take them to grasp it? How much money
would be lost before they did? Southeast Point of Sale was able to show
her how a POS system was not an expense but rather a capital investment
designed to help her save money. We also assured her that we wouldn't
leave her hanging. We would train her employees until they understood,
not just until her training time was up. Today all of Kabuto's employees
are trained and couldn't imagine life without VersiTouch. "Southeast
Point of Sale has and continues to provide me the type of support and
training I need."-Darla Schnieder, Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse.
Thinking outside the box
We were very excited when Lisa Hawley, Owner of Southern Roots Restaurant
in High Point contacted us about a Point of Sale system for their renowned
restaurant. Not only were they recently voted one of the top three restaurants
in the Triad, the restaurant was located in the historic JH Adams Inn.
The history of the building dates back over a century and the chance
to work in such an elegant building was appealing, to say the least.
Interestingly, what initially attracted us to the restaurant (the historic
building) ended up being the cause of some unusual challenges. With
the mahogany paneled interiors and two foot thick load bearing walls,
no wiring or drilling was possible. This meant that traditional networking
was not an option. SEPOS installed a specialized wireless printing network
that has worked flawlessly after initial adjustments. "The guys
at SEPOS didn't panic when things didn't go as planned. They quickly
adjusted and remained on task. The VersiTouch POS system has saved us
countless hours and money as well." Lisa Hawley, Southern Roots.
Multiple Stores, Multiple Headaches, No Problem
Restaurateurs who have the privilege of owning a string of restaurants
have certain advantages over the single unit owner operator, but usually
have more challenges as well.
When Ham's made the commitment to install computer-based point
of sale systems in their restaurants they chose RCS. Today, with 16
restaurants they still use RCS although most have upgraded to the new
RCS platform, VersiTouch. At some point during their growth it was decided
that Ham's would support their POS systems internally. Southeast Point
of Sale was able to showcase its flexibility by designing a support
plan just for them. Southeast Point of Sale offers top level support
to their internal IT manager. This allows them to manage their own network
without sacrificing the knowledge and support available at SEPOS. SEPOS
has also been involved in other IT projects with this organization.
Starting in Jan. 2003 and continuing throughout the spring Hams restaurants
will be rolling out their new gift card program. These cards are redeemable
at any location and can be purchased for any amount, as well as have
value added to the card at anytime and at any POS terminal. The card
program, run by Givex Corp., is another example of how SEPOS can help
you put the pieces together. Ham's has also recently contracted with
Clarity, another SEPOS partner, to use their award-winning product,
Web-DSR. This will allow them to view all sales and other reporting
information at a corporate level anytime and from anywhere that has
an Internet connection. By transmitting store data directly from their
POS system into Web-DSR, the information will be accurate, and the need
for redundant data entry at the corporate level will have been eliminated,
saving countless hours and dollars. By looking toward the future instead
of running from it, Ham's restaurants are setting themselves up for
success. Southeast Point of Sale is glad to have played a part in it.
